Manuelle Lymphdrainage
Lymphdrainage bezeichnet eine spezielle Massagetechnik die das Lymphsystem entstaut. Das Lymphgefäßsystem dient dem Körper als „Filterstation“. Wenn das Lymphsystems durch äußere Eingriffe beschädigt wird kommt es zu Einlagerung von Flüssigkeit ins Gewebe. Eine Schwellung entsteht! Äußere Einwirkungen können operative Eingriffe, vor allem bei Krampfadern oder Brustkrebs-Operationen sein. Es kann aber auch eine angeborene Schädigung zugrunde liegen, wobei das Lymphsystem nicht richtig ausgebildet ist.In jedem Fall findet die Lymphdrainage ihre Anwendung nach frischen Operationen bei denen eine Schwellungsneigung angezeigt ist.
In der Schönheitsbranche wird Lymphdrainage zur Entschlackung angewandt, wobei zur Zeit noch keine positive Wirkung nachgewiesen wurde. Wohltuend auswirken kann sich die manuelle Lymphdrainage allerdings bei chronischen Kopfschmerz und Migräne Patienten.
